Professional Diploma Course in Clinical Hypnotherapy & Psychotherapy

Course Materials/Venue:

Home study material consisting of detailed course manuals and audio recordings /lectures/hypnotic recordings.

Classes are held regularly in Glasgow at the Ewington City Hotel, Queen's Drive, Glasgow. Other venues will be added depending on demand in a particular area - UK wide.

 

Course Dates:

The Diploma Course may be started as soon as you enrol. You will immediately receive your first batch of home study materials upon enrolment and will contine to receive course materials by postal mail every fortnight over a six month period.

You will be required to attend the 50 hours of class time in order to qualify for your Diploma. These classes are held regularly and you may mix and match, attending when you wish until you have achieved 50 class hours. As each class is unique and focuses on what the group is most interested to learn, you will always learn something new, no matter which class you attend.

Qualifications or Experience required:

No qualifications or previous experience is required by the student. Any person of reasonable intelligence with an interest in the mind can succeed at this course and will be given all the support necessary to reach a passing grade.

 

Course Aim:

To bring the student to a high level of professional and ethical qualification in Hypnotherapy, Hypno-Analysis and Psychotherapeutic technique.

 

Course Syllabus:

Lessons will be broken down into themes, each lasting a specific period of time.

 

Themes include:

Mastering Hypnosis & Hypnotherapy, The History of Hypnosis, Confidence & Ego-Boosting, Fears & Phobias, Addictive Behaviour, Goal Shaping, Happiness, Negative Emotions, Parental Influences, Relationships, Relaxation & Positivity, Stress, Wisdom & Creativity, Postive Suggestion, Anxiety & Panic Attacks, Regression & Past Life Regression, Repressions, Abreaction & Transference, N.L.P., Sexual Problems, Childhood Trauma and much more, outlined in detail in the course prospectus.

 

There will also be a period of hypnotic relaxation during each practical class.

Techniques & philosophies to become more relaxed & positive, happier, healthier, less stressed, better at relationships, increased self esteem etc.

 

You will also understand cause & effect and learn strategies to overcome psychological problems.

 

Certification Offered:

Scottish Institute of Clinical Hypnotherapy & Psychotherapy Diploma in Hypnotherapy & Psychotherapy.

This Diploma is a nationally recognised qualification in Hypnotherapy & Psychotherapy and is validated by the prestigious General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (UK).

Upon completion of the SICHP Diploma Course, you may apply for membership of the General Hypnotherapy Register and receive professional support and supervision from both the G.H.R. and the SICHP.

You may also study for the SICHP Advanced Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy & Psychotherapy and achieve further qualification and recognition in your field. Details of the Advanced Diploma are only sent to those already enroled on the SICHP Diploma Course.

Materials/Books Required:

You will receive all course materials. However, there is a small list of required reading books you must obtain to assist you in completing the course. These books are listed in the first dispatch of your course home study materials.

 

What you should bring to class:

Please bring a pen and paper for notes.

 

Wear comfortable clothing or leisure clothing, avoid restrictive clothing such as tight shoes, ties etc. to aid your relaxation.
